Overview

Jayav Art is a shop/gallery and a workshop where you can find numerous papier mache sculptures. They are ntirely handmade by the French artist Philippe Brousseau and his Cambodian team.

Inspired by all the beautiful Angkorian sculpture around the temples, but lacking the excess baggage space to carry replica statues all the way home? Talk to Jayav Art, which specialises in exquisite papier-mâché replica sculptures in various sizes.

Jayav Art is a workshop-boutique opened by Philippe Brousseau, installed for about three years in Siem Reap.
Philippe Brousseau creates original creations in ... recycled paper and vegetable fibers.
Inspired by traditional Khmer masks used for dance, his statues are so fine and polished that they look like carved in stone or bronze.
The technique used by Philippe Brousseau allows him to create light sculptures and to refine certain details. Unique works in Cambodia.

The workshop-shop is located just before the check-point of entry on the site of the temples.
Rates, quite affordable.
You will also find other creations: Drawings, pastels ...
What bring back memories really unique of Siem Reap!

Opening hours: 10:00 to 18:00
Address: #A25 Street Charles de Gaulle | Borey Prem Prey, Charming City, Siem Reap, Cambodia
